Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has promised to carry his campaign to every corner of Nigeria.
This comes amid concerns about the former Lagos Governor’s health.
Tinubu, on the other hand, said in a statement on Wednesday that he intends to take his presidential message to every area of the country.
“Today marks the official start of campaign operations for the 2023 presidential election across our country,” Tinubu stated.
“I cordially ask all Nigerians to join me and HE Senator Kashim Shettima on this momentous and historic trip as we establish our shared vision of Renewed Hope for the people of our great country, Nigeria.”
“In the coming weeks and months, we will take our dream of a functional, safe, secure, and prosperous Nigeria to every area of the country, and we will continue to present our strategy to lead our country to its best destiny.”
Tinubu stated that the country is “on the verge of history” and that Nigerians “cannot afford to get this wrong.”
He stated that citizens must learn from “previous mistakes.”
“With my running companion, I am prepared and ready to deliver the leadership that will inspire our country to greater glory with new thinking, inventive ideas, and vision,” Tinubu stated.
